While the rest of the country has been buried in snow and record low temperatures, we have been bombarded with sunshine. Which is fine until you start thinking of the future water shortage and drought conditions. The weather reports kept changing from predicting endless sunshine to a slight chance of showers. I was really thrilled when we got our first sprinkles last night. It rained steadily all day today and there should be more into the weekend. January is really the last month for our area to collect any water in the reservoirs. Of course, don’t tell Jack this. He’s enjoying the global warming a little too much if you ask me.

Well, it’s hard not to enjoy good weather. But drought is horrible, so I hope the rain continues so you don’t have a hard time this summer!

I am so glad for the rain, and am a little worried about this summer…
Thinking about you today.

It has been so dry here, and today I noticed my lawn looking so brown, and my hibiscus leaves turning yellow…then I suddenly remember I turned off the sprinklers for some reason about 2 weeks ago!!! Will get them going again in the morning! Jack sure looks great in the sun!
