Recovering from the Holidays

We are getting back into the swing of things after last week’s holiday extravaganza. I spent the three days prior to Christmas learning how to sew and making aprons for my mom and three of my sisters. Only to forget to take any pictures. They came out pretty good but Martha Stewart has nothing to worry about. I also made batches of the homemade peanut brittle. I thought this batch tasted even better than the last time. It was a great holiday and I was lucky enough to spend it with my friends and family.

Here is our Golden Retriever recovering from the holiday madness. Notice that she captured, conquered and gutted both hers and the other’s dog Christmas present. She did this record time, no wonder she’s tired.

Oh bummer, I was looking forward to seeing your nifty home-made gifts! I need an apron – is it hard to make one if you don’t really sew? 🙂

What a handsome doggy!!! I, too, am recovering. I slept almost the whole day away today! I took 4 days off this week, and all I could do today was sleep! Yikes! 🙂

Oh my gosh, I would have loved to see those aprons! You’ll have to show next time! & how sweet does that dog look? My mom’s pitbull does the same thing–no toys are safe if she has her way. Happy holidays!

Meg killed that same toy in under 2 seconds. It was amazing, yet annoying.

    Happy New Year!

HEy we got good pictures on my camera of the aprons! I just haven’t had a chance to e-mail them out! I’ll try to get them to you this weekend!
