This Valentine’s day I thought I would try to be creative and suprise my boyfriend. I found this pretty purple orchid as his main gift. Unlike me he has the patience to care and keep orchids alive.
I also started to grow for him a mix of sunflowers. A few weeks before Valentine’s day I started to grow Mammoth sunflowers. If all goes well we should have eight feet tall giant yellow sunflowers in a few months. I also started four smaller hybrid sunflowers. They will be slightly smaller and will be different colors.
Despite all my efforts I think I got the biggest surprise. First I received pretty white tulips which are my favorite flower. But to match the white flowers I received a Mac mini. It’s so cute and shiny and white. It’s replacing a sad, tired, old Dell laptop.
I must say, the Mac Mini is my favorite pic! So cute!
But I do love orchids. 🙂
What thoughtful presents for both of you! I grew Mammoth sunflowers last year and loved them. They grew taller than my garage.
I can’t wait to see photos of your sunflowers in a few months! 🙂
Your blog is very attractive. I like the idea of a Heart Art show too. I have always loved hearts. And …I love sunflowers too. Welcome to botanical and you have so much to offer here.
Beautiful layout and excellent photos taken! Definitely adding you onto my blogroll! It’s a visual pleasure reading through your blog!
