It’s time to dig out those binoculars and telescopes because tonight most of Europe and North America can witness a total eclipse of the moon. Sky and Telescope has more details on the stages and progression on the eclipse. The eclipse will be begin at 5:30 Pacific time and progress until 9:00 pm.

Hey Kristi,
We lucked out and the weather broke in time for us to see the gorgeous moon! It gave me goosebumps, even though my pictures aren’t all that great, that feeling was awesome!

Sabina, Sandy, and Katie- wasn’t it beautiful? My pictures came out pretty weak. They just look like a fuzzy orange blur. Katie I thought your looked pretty good.
