Babe the Blue Ox Loses His Head

BIG BLUE OX

If you have ever gone to the Redwood you have probably passed by the famous Klamath Paul Bunyon and Blue Ox statues. Last year we posed by these big guys on our way up to the Oregon border. I was suprised to read that poor ol Blue has lost his head due to heavy rain and rot. They claim that Paul Bunyon is innocent but look at that guy doesn’t he look a little shady?

    Did you look closely at this sculpture? Is that a tail or a nutsack hanging down back?

    I know it’s the lighting, but it looks an awful lot like Paul had a little bit of an accident in his pants. Poor guy seems to have wet himself. Serves him right for beheading Babe, now doesn’t it?
