Summer has arrivied and that means that means venturing out into the great outdoors and relaxing. Target had this inventive cooler/picnic table. It would perfect for the beach or the park.
Ofcourse you can also just relax in your backyard. One of the must have items that I spotted on the internet is this uber cool (but extremely expensive) Hamock made from recycled seat belts. I can just picture myself rocking on the bright green hamock with a nice adult beverage and a good book.
Now that I’ve had my picnic and am relaxing on my hammock the next step is finding the perfect summer adult beverage. I think the Electric Lemonade would be perfect for a lazy Saturday evening while barbequing.
Electric Lemonade
2 tablespoons of Sugar syrup
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 large mint sprig, finely chopped and garnish
8 ounces lemon-flavored vodka
Splash of club soda
Stir together syrup, lemon juice, and chopped mint. Pour mixture into ice-cube tray and freeze for one hour.
In a blender, blend together frozen cubes, sparkling water, chopped mint and vodka.
Pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with mint sprigs
