One of These Is Not Like The Other

Random Pea flower

Now that spring has finally arrived my snap peas have really taken off. I’m growing Cascadia snap peas for the first time this year. I have two sets of eight all growing around a tomato cages. This variety grows to about three feet and has produced a nice amount of peas. Throughout the winter the flowers have all been white but I noticed yesterday that a few of them are producing pretty pink and purple flowers. I didn’t buy any Sweet Pea seeds this year because I’ve never managed to successfully grow them in the past. So it’s ironic that they somehow got mixed in with my edible peas.
