I thought I had killed this poor succulent last summer. I have to admit I am completely ignorant when it comes to succulents. I have a tendency to over water and love them too much. This one in particular was a challenge because I thought it would want direct sunlight. It quickly browned and faded and I wasn’t sure what to do. That’s when I spotted the same variety on Succulent Life’s page and realized I was doing everything wrong. I removed it from the sunlight as it was getting sunburned. Then I forgot about it for six months. Six months later it’s starting to bloom and turn green again despite my initial abuse.
Glad it survived. My stunt is to leave them outside a bit too long in the fall, and then discover that, ooops, we’ve had a frost…a hard one. Mush. but if I get them inside, they get a bit scruffy in the winter but then recuperate next spring….til fall….:-)
Oh…hey! How have I missed this post??? WOW! What a great report on your beautiful plant! Great recovery!!! I am so happy for you! It is just gorgeous! Maybe you will have some babies soon! Thanks for the mention!
