Last Sunday night, the wind picked up and it began to rain heavily. My boyfriend and I were racking our brains for a nice rich dinner for a cold night. We found a recipe from The Paupered Chef which was adapted from the book Rustic Kitchen. This recipe substitutes cream sauce with dry white wine. The result is creamy, rich sauce that isn’t too heavy. The recipe includes eggs, minced bacon, cheese, and seasonings. We substituted linguine noodles from their farfalle pasta. It’s a simple, delicious dish. I am happy to say we used fresh parsley from my indoor garden.

It was really good, I’ve requested the book from our local library. I can’t wait to try some new recipes.

I feel like I just had a nice visit to this site.I saw this recipe in Gourmet, too, but haven’t tried it yet. Now I’ll definitely make the dish.pastas which are spicy and nutritious do not need under cooking or overcooking.
