About a month ago I signed up for Kismet’s homemade note card swap. I have admired quite a few handmade cards that I have seen in shops and on other websites. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be. After two hours I had a pile of crumpled paper, a second pile of paper cuttings, and I managed to get glue on my pants, my carpet, and my dog. So far I have two cards I’m not totally satisfied with them as they look like a fifth grade art project. I went with with the theme of flowers. I first attempted to use pen and ink drawings but they quickly ended up in the garbage. I still have three more to go but I just started a second job and I’m trying to squeeze them in by Saturday. I’ll keep you guys posted.

I am also in the Creative Kizmet Notecard Swap and new at allowing my creative energy to express itself. I like the two cards you have posted. The great thing about art is that there is no right or wrong. I look forward to seeing the rest of your notecards. I just finished mine and sent hubby to the post office before it closes. Have a great weekend!

Thank you Suzi! I enjoyed reading your site http://stardustmoonbeams.blogspot.com/ and checking out your cards.
I started a night job so I have to complete the rest of the cards today.
I’ll post them when they are done.
