December Bloom Day

It’s already December 15th, and that means it’s Bloom Day with May Dreams Garden. December isn’t the most prolific time for flowers but I still have a few stubborn plants. They seem to be enjoying the cold and extremely wet weather.

The roses have plenty of blooms.

A couple of these are reappearing, they will really take off in the spring.

Succulent Flowers. I bought this succulent at the beginning of the summer. It’s divided three times and all three plants are blooming these pretty red flowers.

It’s practically SUMMER in your garden!! You’ve got stuff that’s still green! Lucky.

Really like the color of that Dianthus – nice shot of it.

Despite a November hard freeze and lots of rain and wind in December, the alyssum here in southern Sacramento county is also thriving. The sasanqua camellia still has a few blooms, as does the penstemon. And the winter daphne is getting ready to pop!
