March Bloom Day

Today, couldn’t be a better day for bloom day. The plants are especially perky now that the temperatures are a little warmer.

The Mickey Mouse violas and alyssum that I bought a couple of months ago have really taken off. The Violas have been especially happy and have already reseeded themselves throughout the beds. I am finding little sprouts here and there. This weekend I added these bright fuchsia alyssum to garden as well.

My favorite part of the yard right now, is the back corner with the massive amount of Freesias. I have three different types and they seem to multiple every year. I’ll just be walking by and their sweet scent just jumps at you.

If I could stop moving everything around every year freesia would multiply for me too. Seems like they’re usually earlier than this, but mine are just starting to flower.

I’m so jealous. I’m still waiting for the last frost here

Chuck- I am terrible about bulbs, I never move them and then I’m surprised with appear the next year. My tulips and hyacinth are pretty much gone but the freesia just keeps getting better every year.

Cherylann- Aw, sorry. I’m sure sunshine is just around the corner.
